PROMOTING AND PROTECTING FORB: A UN FOCUS

The United Nations undertakes a key role in fostering the freedoms of religion or belief (FoRB) worldwide. Through legal mechanisms, the UN seeks to protect that individuals and groups may to exercise their beliefs freely and without discrimination. Additionally, the UN provides assistance to states in developing their legal and institutional syst
